وهذا هو تحليل لشخصيتها
Sun in Cancer

Because the moon, which rules this sign, has no light of its own but shines by the reflected light of the Sun, you have a need to find an inner center. Your power can be very great, or very insecure, and you shine best when you are centered on others outside your own personality. This is the most feminine of all signs, and you have a very strong attachment to home and mother. There is a grave need to protect self and family from threat, and you use your hard crab shell to sustain a remarkable self-defense.

You have a capacity for tremendous kindness and caring, thus you are very emotional and intuitive. You can also be very shrewd, imaginative, and good at problem solving since you work instinctively to make decisions. You have a tendency to look to the past, however, and your worst faults are worrying, clinging to others, an inability to let go when something is over, and moodiness (which you get from the moon). You make very nurturing, loving partners, however, and take great pride in giving very inventive presents to those close to you. You are firmly committed to children and a family life, but you do enjoy variety and change within a need for continuity. You are naturally attracted to the caring professions such as teaching, nursing, social work, counseling, psychic healers and psychologists. Teaching kids, running a daycare center, or even taking care of other people's homes are good for the Cancerian personality. You are natural cooks, and enjoy any work involving the past, such as museum curators or antique collectors. You also enjoy working out of your home, and do well in any field involving medicine due to your intensity of feeling. For you, fulfillment is more important than ambition, although you like to make money and can even hoard it at times.

You are like a receptive sponge, taking in all around you, sensitive to your environment, building a hard shell in which to hide at times. You are naturally nurturing--the mother of the zodiac--moving with the ocean tides, surging and ebbing like the moon. Your symbols are the womb, the house, the home, the interior of all things. As a Protector, Cancer carries its house upon its back, thus your home can be two places--on land in the real world, or in the water in the emotional world. Your greatest challenge is to find an inner center or shell and function from there. This will stabilize you from the rocking of the tidal flow of life. Add some reason and discrimination, and you are sure to find happiness wherever you go.

You possess a subconscious mind that keeps many things hidden. Nothing is very clear or direct for you. You tend to respond to most things through your feelings, which can appear to others as vague. Many times, feeling and thinking are not separated. As a result, you can be very psychic.

Cancer rules the public, or mass consciousness, thus you are never ruled by reason, but by emotion. You tend to have a civilizing, taming influence on people. Your deep need for roots, or a peaceful state of mind, can turn into neediness if you don't find a good place to rest your powerful emotions. If you do, you can shine and even provide a safe harbor or refuge for others seeking a retreat for solitude. You are usually gentle and kind, unless you are hurt. In that case, a vindictive and sharp claw can attack, and can even smother. You move sideways, like a crab, when in love, avoiding confrontations, sometimes hiding behind protective urges.

On the down side, you can be lazy, and dislike exercise. Later in life, some Cancers have suffered from poor circulation, perhaps because they absorb so much feeling and pain in their life. They have incredible memories, and use their "antennae" to probe what is in front of them, asking: "Is it safe?" Cancer rules the stomach or "gut feeling", so they typically make decisions using their intuition. Their tough shell, if not matched with an equally secure interior, can prove crusty, hard and judgmental.

Cancers are great business and resource people. They also make good historians, protecting the "womb of time". They have a definite preference for old things: old houses, sweaters, jewelry, etc. They enjoy rituals or tradition that link the past to the present. Like crabs, they tend to prefer small, dark spaces--perhaps this gives them the psychological safety of a womb. They are the Great Mother--nurturing, protecting--yet this could also turn into the Devourer if not balanced properly. You can't feed them enough. Generally, though, Cancers try to mother everyone, and make great adoptive parents. They are fiercely protective, flowing with the ebb and tide of the moon. Experience flows through them, and their moodiness results in changeable interests and social circles. Once a Cancer trusts you, however, he or she lets you into a most private world.

Cancers have a natural connection with children and animals. A Cancer woman is enigmatic and elusive, with changeable moods that are difficult to pin down. She is frequently insecure and scared of commitment, but is gentle and sympathetic to your needs. She has a deep need for roots or a home, anything near water (remember Cancer is a water sign). She nurtures everything--animals, children, orphans; feeling always comes first for her.

A Cancer man has similar needs--up to a point. He retreats just like a crab when infringed upon, burying himself in the sand by going to a special place--the couch, the TV, his bedroom. He also gets along well with kids, and has a need to nurture. Don't try to corner him or prod him; he doesn't react well to pressure. He could delight you with his revelations in the spiritual world; if the intuition is powerfully developed, a Cancer man could be a psychic healer or clairvoyant. Be careful what you think.

In romance, Cancers are generally evasive--flirtatious, coy, the ever-moving crab seeking food and running from predators. He or she enjoys entertaining at home, surrounded by all that is familiar. They are usually not lavish spenders, except with the home or family, and tend to buy inexpensive items. They also tend to be big savers. Cancers and Scorpions have been reputed to be a good match. This could be because both have pincers--they both have secrets to entrust with each other.

Cancers are generally drawn to an organized religion, and once they find one they tend to stick with it if it feels right, exploring its depths, using intuition to understand it. Cancers are hungry for spiritual satisfaction, but also give freely from their knowledge to others. They enjoy a creative response to life, and have a deep desire to build and grow something of lasting value, something real. In conjunction with the Moon, Cancer rules all growing and changing in life, through natural cycles, shifting tides, which finds its outlet in rituals and brooding--anything that connects the present to the past, and marks a new beginning.

Sun in Seventh House

The Sun in this house makes you a natural magnet towards others, but how you are drawn, and what draws you to them, is dependent on the placement of other planets in your birth chart. You very often make good counselors, since this house reflects the deep-rooted needs of individuals, which you recognize and appreciate. You are either involved in a deep relationship, or looking for one, since harmony and balance in a marriage is important to you. There is sometimes a conflict between independence and relationships, but you constantly seek that fine balance. Libra's House represents the Scales, and indeed the Sun placed here connotes a fairness in all things. These people have lots of close, personal relationships. If the Sun is well-aspected, you will attract a long-lasting, dedicated mate that will lead to a solid marriage; if afflicted, you will have a long history of attracting the wrong type of partner. The Sun here gives you persuasive power that could make you a talented salesperson, in keeping with your desire to keep good relations with all people. Most of your achievements come through joint work with others; rarely do you relish working alone.

You typically benefit through marriage or partnerships, and your significant other is likely to be warm-hearted and hold a lot of the dominant power in the relationship. Your emphasis is on "we" rather than "me", and you do well at adjusting your wind sails to the needs of others. Your real power is through the Sun's ability to help others shine. Sometimes you live for a total commitment to a partner, and you need to guard against totally submerging your own needs for your partner's. You must cultivate self-reliance, and remember to work on your own self-esteem while enhancing your partner's. Watch for the placement of Venus, which rules this house. If Venus is also placed in the Seventh House, there is likely to be a real imbalance in the personality, so that independence proves extremely difficult. A person with this placement needs to develop a realistic attitude towards loved ones, or high expectations may be unmet. Rapport is very important in this house, and the Sun can help you achieve this in all relationships. Also, look to this house if you are thinking of setting up a business practice. Your people skills may help you in that area.

Capricorn on the Ascendant, Cancer on the Descendant

According to mythology, the planet Saturn--which rules Capricorn--represents two sides of a personality. One is critical, cold and harsh; the other is sensual, overindulgent and abundant. This dual nature can be seen in the qualities of the rising Capricorn, which at once reveals structure and order, goals and ambitions, discipline and control--all this coupled with enjoyment of the physical world, luxury, and all that is beautiful. Like a good wine, a Capricorn rising will mature and ripen with time (Sasportas 155).

As a Capricorn rising, you have much stability and common sense, although there may be conflict between expressing and suppressing your emotions. No matter what your sun sign, a Capricorn placing here will give you the ability to shape your life and plan it in a careful way so that you can express yourself to your fullest potential. The danger here is in underestimating yourself because of low self-esteem or self-confidence. There is also a tendency towards extreme negativity or skepticism, which often masks an extremely open and inquisitive nature.

You have a serious nature, though not depressing, but cautious and not frivolous. You are quiet, reserved, almost shy with strangers, but can open up with abundance with people you know. You have great willpower and determination, with your lifetime goals usually centering around money, security, and a higher status for you and your family. You are reliable, dependable and stable-like the goat that is sure-footed, silently plodding its way up the mountain.

Like a true Capricorn, people with this rising sign are concerned with appearances, reputation and public standing, and you may go to great lengths to appear 'normal.' Realize that this is unnecessary and may lead to sickness, as you are going against your true nature-whatever you decide that nature to be. If you are naturally conservative, then you don't need to be afraid that you aren't; simply be what you are. You probably have a great drive for achievement and authority, and a desire to attain worldly status. Security is important to you. Try to cultivate a warmth towards others; your cool nature may turn them off.

You should develop a love for music, or at least an appreciation of it. Other art forms, such as sculpture or architecture, may also interest you. With Cancer on the Descendant, Capricorn rising may develop a tender, sensitive side-especially when you are involved in a committed, long-term relationship. Cancer here adds a sense of loyalty and a heightened emotion or feeling.

Occasionally, you may find that achieving your goals isn't enough. In that case, you may search for some kind of higher meaning in life. You have a calculating mind, and typically think through an issue before beginning any project. You are good at summing up your opponents, and using his or her weak points to your advantage. Like your Zodiac cousin, the Virgo, you tend to be a worrier. It is not always easy for you to show your feelings, yet you are deeply loyal and protective. Sometimes you go out of your way to do kind deeds for others, yet other times you are torn apart by jealousy and resentment.

You achieve your successes through your own measures, rather than through influencing others. You often gain through marriage, and there may be some kind of rivalry with your brothers or sisters. The planet Saturn is important in your birth chart. Study its placement, as it can determine such qualities as discipline, ambition, patience, determination and endurance; it can also confer stubbornness, hardship, depression and pessimism.

Moon in Aquarius

The moon in Aquarius denotes a progressive attitude, a gift for dealing with the public, and a compassion towards humanity and all the victims of society--beggars, homeless people, people with AIDS, etc. You are most likely a friendly humanitarian who wants to remain impersonal, who can be stubborn, but who also has psychic abilities that, when developed, can be quite strong. Freedom is very important to you, as is your home life. This does not mean you are necessarily traditional, because you tend not to recognize boundaries or limits of any sort.

Oftentimes, you learn the hard way, making decisions and erratic actions through ill-considered thoughts. This can make you unstable, though the moon here implies that you have a very sound mind capable of original thought, though it can get stuck in rigid patterns. You really don't understand others' needs, which is a fault of yours, and thus people can perceive you as a little cold. You are more mental than emotional, with a strong selfishness although a friendly exterior. Your feelings can be cramped and limited, and you may suffer from arthritis later on in life.

Physically, the moon gives you a magnetic appearance that attracts many people to you; however, you send out cool and distant signals. Other people need to break through this brittle exterior to experience the true you. However, you seem to enjoy this defensive wall, and want to appear enigmatic and mysterious. The moon's flow of emotion is very controlled here, and you are capable of responding immediately if anyone needs help. Though you are practical, you also can act on impulse; therefore, you are unpredictable, especially in areas that are considered controversial.

You enjoy the glamorous life, and often have a romantic streak. The moon gives you an originality and even a spark of genius that needs something to complete it--a commitment to helping some humanitarian cause, or some other kindness that fulfills your restless and shy heart.

Moon in Second House

There is a need for security, both emotional and financial, in this positioning of the moon. You have a strong instinct to save and collect things, and need to guard against hoarding so that it does not become an obsession. Rely upon your practicality to safeguard the ups and downs of your financial situation. You tend to worry too much about money, even if you are wealthy. The changes in the stock market can affect your mood, and materialism in general may prove too important, especially if other factors in your birth chart point that way.

If you are a spiritually involved person, the moon may add support to that dimension, and may mean that you don't value money as much as a typical Taurean would. You may even give it away to charities or needy friends. However, the moon here may even lead to an imbalance regarding money; you should follow your intuitions, especially in business and investing. You tend to have good basic business ability, and a strong need for financial security.

You may work in the food business, real estate or for a company involving domestic goods. Unfortunately, finances may be moody like the moon, with ups and downs. You need to guard against being so wrapped up in your finances that your emotional security is tied up with them. Use your common sense here, and your intuitive sense in general. You may be a generous spender, and benefit from and through women.

Remember that finances change as conditions change. Your money may become public; still, the moon in this house suggests you have a shrewd and acquisitive business sense, even if there is a rapid turnover for your money. Your attitude towards money may also change. You can be stingy, or overgenerous. If you are a fixed sign, you may hold on to people with a strong tenacity as if they were possessions. You need to clearly separate your feelings from your earthly wealth.

Mercury in Cancer

A Mercury in Cancer's heavily emotional waters gives you an extremely emotional and receptive mind. You are sensitive, imaginative, and have an excellent memory. However, you tend to look to the past for answers, and must guard against drowning in your own unhappy memories or emotions. Your sense of nostalgia may be too strong, and you are heavily swayed by your senses. You must guard against having a passive mind, and attempt to achieve stability by thinking about your future.

People with this placement can be extremely psychic, and absorb knowledge from others merely by listening to them. They can also be stubbornly resistant in an argument, or by contrast, they may change their opinions so quickly they lose others in a conversation. They typically have a love for anything from the past--antiques, history, novels, family genealogy. They also are concerned with anything domestic or having to do with the home. They have a tenacity, which they may show by collecting things. Their imagination may work overtime, often negatively, so that they make "mountains out of molehills" in their minds. If their creativity is channeled correctly, however, they can work productively.

A Gemini with this placement has much intuition, sensitivity and imagination, that can be expressed through writing or handicraft. A Cancer also has increased imagination, which can be good or bad depending on how it's channeled. It can lead to worrying, or moodiness. For a Leo, intuition and sentimentality are heightened, as is the imagination. The Leo's basic optimistic nature should overcome any negative worrying here, and Mercury adds kindness and sympathy, which makes a Leo less dogmatic or bossy.

Mercury in Seventh House

Mercury with a Libra influence here highlights friendships, which are very important to you, and you probably have an excellent ability to communicate with your partner. This must be reciprocated to achieve balance and happiness. You may have a tendency to be gullible, or fall into your partner's way of thinking, which can cause problems. This is a good placing for business partnerships, and you may be gifted in sales as you can convey any idea to your partners, customers or clients.

You are also good at bringing people together in business, or as a matchmaker. You would make a good go-between, a mediator or counselor, agent, or a negotiator between parties. Certain kinds of law may also be a good area for you, as would real estate, since you are adept at working and communicating effectively with other people in partnership or cooperative work. You are at ease with people socially, and are able to converse with them on any number of topics.

You seek an intelligent, well-educated marriage partner, and may marry early in life, or marry someone quite a bit younger. Communication with your mate is of prime importance. You may meet him or her while traveling, in connection with writing or education or some other pursuits. Your partner is likely quick-witted, keen and alert, and you are able to overcome any bickering or arguments when they occur.

This house also rules the lower courts, so you should try to settle out of court if you have any disputes. Watch what you sign or put on paper. Remember that Mercury, the mind, always rules over the emotions here.

Venus in Taurus

This is a heady combination. Venus rules Taurus, and when she is in her own sign she adds power--both good and bad. Generally, this placement makes you more loving, compassionate, warm, but possibly passive and possessive. Material possessions will take on more importance, and you work hard to achieve luxury and comfort. You may have a heightened artistic talent or appreciation for music, beauty, art or literature. Many talented singers often have Venus in Taurus.

You attract money and material resources easily, and have a strong financial drive in general. Marriage is sometimes delayed, although you tend to form deep emotional love attachments. Feelings are strongly accentuated here, and you respond to your emotions with extremes, showing passion, affection and caring. You have a good disposition, can be very stubborn, and enjoy the comforts of the good life, including loyal friendships, if your jealousy does not interfere.

On the negative side, this powerful placement can result in people who can be brutish, or gluttonous. They will be intense in their pursuit of goals, and tend to keep beautiful houses, complete with tasteful interiors. If you are a Pisces, Taurus here adds stability, common sense and an added fiscal ability, while Venus will increase the affections, passions and selfishness of an Aries. If you are a Taurus, your metabolism could be slow and illnesses may be present, while Venus increases a Gemini's emotional level, causing some problems in rationalizing. For a Cancer, there is great potential for caring, sensitivity and becoming an extremely sensual lover; however, watch out for claustrophobic conditions.

Venus in Taurus will influence you to go slowly in love, despite your earthy, passionate nature. It also brings you luck with money, sometimes through inheritance or marriage.

Venus in Fourth House

You have a general love of home and family life, enjoying entertaining in your home, and cooking for friends. Your home is usually a place of beauty, and you may achieve much happiness through your parents, usually by inheritance. A love of social contacts and an interest in people is usually associated with Venus in this house, and your optimistic nature will make you popular if Venus is well placed. You have a strong desire to own your own home, which will likely be fulfilled.

You may have a love of gardening, and frequently have an artistic nature. The later part of your life may be blessed, but there may be a disruption when your grownup children leave home. There may be a tendency to spoil your children, which may be left over from your own adoration of your mother. Whatever the case, you seek harmony in your home and go to great lengths to maintain it. You enjoy finding tasteful furnishings and decorations, and typically gain through property or land.

Mars in Virgo

The energy of Mars here fires the fastidious nature of Virgo, making you strong, yet critical, modest, yet decisive. You may have some of the shrewd and cunning qualities of a Virgo, but are likely much livelier and ambitious. You will likely succeed in work that involves much organization and detail, and you have the ability to separate your emotions from your work, which can make you good at making decisions. Quietly determined, you assert yourself in a quiet way that is helpful, dutiful and probably motivated to serve others in some way.

Your cool exterior may belie strong energy underneath, and you may be a perfectionist consumed fanatically by details. You boldly take initiative, but you are interested not in the big picture, but in the many steps that it takes to make a project work. Your biggest enemy may be yourself, as your own criticism can hamper you more than add to anything. Still, you have a practical intelligence and a real ability to work hard at any goal you put your mind to. Often, that goal is perfection itself.

In love, your passions are strong but are likely tightly channeled (Virgo here doesn't like to see too much outpouring of emotion). You may have a problem expressing emotions, or may be overly critical about your own sexual performance. You may be successful in careers that involve controlling the emotions, such as politics or psychology, but guard against frittering away your nervous energy. You are intense, which can cause a lot of inner tension and even illness. Regular exercise is recommended to help you release negative energy; it is also important for you to get outside, which can stimulate your mind as well.

Mars in 8th House

This is a powerful placement for you. Whatever your interest, Martian energy placed here gives you the balls to go for what you want with intensity. However, you have an aptitude for these areas in particular--working with other people's money, healing people, exploring the psychic world, doing investigative work, and especially, performing in the bedroom.

Mars in the eighth house gives you the ability to thrive in joint enterprises. You enjoy giving and receiving, and handling other people's money. Unfortunately, if Mars is poorly aspected, you may experience fights over joint resources, battles over inheritances and wills, or have conflicts with financial partners. Still, you have energy regarding joint finances, and this is a good placement for bookkeepers, trust and tax attorneys, or insurance adjustors. If you are involved with other people's money, aim on the side of caution, as there is a chance to lose money if large risks are taken.

You may also be attracted to the healing professions, and may find fulfillment in that area. Mars could give you the ability to delve into the Plutonian underworld of the occult--anything related to psychic connections, psychiatry, or even surgery. You may also be especially skilled in undercover work or research, such as police or detective work that involves probing into what is hidden or secret. Whatever profession you choose, you will likely have a powerful intuition, with innate abilities to scrutinize potential partners, financial probabilities, or psychic opportunities. You must guard against having obsessions or a preoccupation with death, and if Mars is poorly aspected, this placement can denote criminal tendencies, aggression or violence, or in some rare cases, even sudden death (especially if Uranus is involved).

But by far the most common characteristic with this placement is the unusually strong burning interest in sex, which is usually viewed as a contest and much more than just relieving physical tension. What many people don't realize is that people with Mars in the eighth house seek affirmation and identity through sex; it makes them feel in charge and powerful, or perhaps it gives them a psychic connection to their partner. They have a real need to find fulfillment in this area. In rare cases people here may take out their aggressions in the bedroom, which may become the theater for darker emotions such as jealousy, lust, or greed. Still, as with all energy, there is a need to transform this passionate, sexual force, to rechannel it from a one-track preoccupation with sex and its conquering prowess, to a creative spurt that serves to regenerate life in whatever it touches. This can be refreshing and renewing for your partner as well, as you seek not to meddle with any dark forces purely for pleasure, but to tranform them into life-giving Scorpio energy.

Jupiter in Aquarius

Jupiter means expansiveness, and with Aquarius that means you have a huge potential to develop a highly original and inventive intellect. However, don't worry if you're not there yet; you may need a lot of time to develop this, maybe even a lifetime. Jupiter here gives you the extraordinary ability to implant new ideas in others' mind, making you a natural diplomat, negotiator or personnel manager. This placement also gives you a great tolerance for different people and their views, and through experience you gain a deep understanding and appreciation of various beliefs and idealogical systems. You gain through group associations, and have a willingness to explore all kinds of spiritual beliefs. This expands who you are.

You surpass prejudice and insist on equality for all. Conscientious is a good word to describe you, though this can become scheming or egocentric if you become 'fixed' on a certain idea or principle. You may have an interest in the occult, such as astrology or reincarnation, or in a humanitarian cause. The influence of Aquarius also gives you a scientific mind, or at least an interest in the subject. You can work well with others and enjoy being with different people; still, you have an extremely independent spirit that needs to express itself in an individual way. You may be very different from the norm, perhaps eccentric. You have a need to break new ground, to reinvent yourself and others.

Your vision also encompasses ways to improve yourself and other people by following humanitarian ideals, which may include taking risks in order to overthrow the 'status quo.' Though you may appear overly detached or uninvolved, you are actually very generous. You have faith in all that is eccentric, individualistic, unorthodox or unique, and the only way you achieve self-confidence is to feel completely independent intellectually. You use your imagination to ensure that justice is served because you have a concern for those less fortunate than you. You may have unusually good ambition, and can be unpredictable. Jupiter's warmth and expansiveness should overcome the cool and distant nature of Aquarius, winning you many friends despite any appearance of coldness.

Jupiter in the First House

Jupiter brings good vibrations, and aspects associated with this planet usually center on what lies ahead, hope, and a bright future, rather than on the reality that is now. You are likely a great thinker and philosopher, constantly seeking to find a road to higher inspiration. With an expansive, magnetic personality, you have a positive outlook that naturally draws people to you, and are warm-hearted generally. Sometimes you may be guilty of too much optimism, and may have a problem of overextending yourself, starting too many projects without finishing them. Still, you can inspire and motivate people with your natural enthusiasm, and are honest and open about accepting others, unless Jupiter is poorly aspected in some way.

You may be attracted to law, religion, or publishing--any field where you can glimpse a larger pattern, order or meaning to life. This search for higher rules or laws is many times spiritual, as you are really seeking truth or God. You have an excellent intellect that needs development, and may have a penchant for good food and wine, with a tendency to put on weight. Hangovers and indigestion are also potential problems for people with this placement.

You may also have a fondness for travel, expanding not just continents but your own mind as well by seeking higher education. Abundance is the key word here, and you yearn for it through pleasure, knowledge and enlarging your own sense of identity. You view life as a journey, and Jupiter here holds nothing back. You may be athletic, with a vitality that needs challenging. These types also make good executives, and Jupiter's good qualities of honesty, trustworthiness, friendliness and kindness will make you popular. It will also make you a leader, even if you don't think you are, especially in the areas of religion, education or law. This is a lucky placement for you; strive not to be egotistical or have an exaggerated opinion of yourself. You may also need discipline and to practice restraint, but you likely feel safe and secure in the protected rays of Jupiter's orb.

Saturn in Capricorn

Saturn is in its element here in Capricorn, and this placement produces a person who is highly ambitious, dedicated to achieving goals, fulfilling responsibilities, and who will stop at nothing to overcome obstacles in their path. This can also lead to control freaks, who feel they have to have thier finger in every part of the pie. On the plus side, these people are very capable, hard working, pragmatic, and cool-headed regarding money and material things. They can be down to earth, and yet social standing is likely to be very important to them.

This is a powerful placement. It enhances ambition, giving you the determination to succeed. You will likely enjoy working alone, and you may find yourself alone on top of the mountain or on top of an organization. That doesn't mean you don't enjoy people, but you may give off signs of being stern, unapproachable or distant, and take life a little too seriously. Try to cultivate the Capricorn off-beat sense of humor. Let go of your ego at times, and though you may relish power, don't use for its own sake. Expand your sense of duty by giving to others--even delegate at times. This will give you a sense of humility, and through time make you strong, persistent, with an integrated sense of responsibility and common sense.

If you are honest, you will likely become very successful and overcome any cold or calculating bad image. You may be attracted to the fields of politics, science or business, and will probably find yourself in a leadership position. Watch that you don't make too many personal sacrifices to achieve objectives, as goal-driven as you are, and although you are not really money crazy per se, you will likely spend your wealth to impress people rather than for your own joy. You will cultivate a healthy discipline, but watch that your inner authoritative voice does not become overpowering and dictatorial, which can ruin self-confidence.

Because Saturn rules the skin, joints and bones, it is necessary for you to exercise regularly. Arthritis may become a problem later on. Try to develop a flexible body and mind to build muscle strength and to overcome illnesses.

Saturn in the First House

Saturn in the First House can prove a difficult placement, especially if this planet is close to the Ascendant. Some astrologers believe the slow, cautious nature of Saturn placed in the house of energy and identity means that the soul was somehow reluctant to enter the world, and that it was a difficult birth for the mother. Whatever the case, Saturn here can make one shy, introverted, and lacking in self-confidence; the planet can inhibit other aspects of the personality and color the chart with seriousness, pessimism, fear and coldness. You may have to work hard to overcome these harsh qualities, yet Saturn also gives you the perseverance, strength, willpower and self-control to achieve success--once you put your mind to it.

You are likely a very hard worker, and may achieve self-confidence through your actions and results. You can overcome fear through sheer determination, but you need self-control to do this. Your early life may have been colored by an unloving or austere environment, which again makes it more difficult for you to reach out as an adult. You may have grown up early in order to cope with a dysfunctional or unloving situation; this could make you appear calculated and self-centered when in fact these qualities are merely survival techniques for you. Still, as an adult you need to realize that you don't always need to build a wall to protect yourself--this merely blocks others out. You may be cautious and reserved, complicated and serious, but others may not want to take the time to get to know you. You need to lighten up and learn to accept love and happiness, despite the many obstacles in life's path you may have encountered.

Saturn's greatest lesson is self-discipline, and if you can learn it, you will be well on your way to achieving success in life. Don't spend all your time worrying what others are thinking of you, being too self-conscious, or afraid of being hurt. Follow your strong practical common sense, your sense of duty, and your conservative outlook. Don't be your own worst enemy.

Cancer ruling the Seventh House

This is a good placement for you in terms of partnerships, and usually denotes a positive financial situation for both you and your mate. You will likely choose a partner who enjoys his or her home, is a good provider, but who may be insecure or in need of a little support or reassurance that he or she has self-worth and is important. This person may be looking for a mother rather than a mate. Try to find a partner who can give you the sense of freedom you desire, and who won't smother you with too much attention. The placement of the moon in your chart will be important in indicating what to expect in terms of your emotions and what you expect from marriage or a union with another person.

Uranus in Leo

The planet Uranus spends a total of seven years in each sign, and hence has more of a generational influence on you rather than a personal influence. People who were born with Uranus in Leo between the years of 1956-1962, like you, should exhibit some similar characteristics, such as strong willpower, enthusiastic creativity, a dislike of conformity, and a desire to set their own rules. They can also be extremely stubborn or difficult to get along with, but this of course is only if you rub the Lion the wrong way. Leo means love, and this sign mixed with the highly individualistic Uranus means originality, eccentricity, and a spirited person who wants no interference and who wants to be his own boss. These people have lots of vitality, forcefulness, energy, industriousness, and can be very rebellious. They are also noted for their many love affairs, for they seek freedom and independence through love, or through art. As a result, they can be egotistical, but approach life with ardor and gusto. Sometimes there may be a liking for power and a desire to influence people, which needs to be expressed. Examples of this are Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Richard Nixon, and John F. Kennedy.

Uranus in the Eighth House

Uranus in the house of legacies, wills, and the occult may mean you could receive an unexpected windfall in terms of inheritance, or at least some type of financial change because of someone else's money--you may become suddenly responsible for someone's wealth. Conversely, if Uranus is poorly aspected, you may lose an inheritance or experience a sudden reversal through a joint finance. Your partner may earn money through unconventional means, and this placement can also mean that you use an unusual approach in handling other people's money to supplement your income. Some astrologers believe Uranus here also gives the individual a careless approach to finances or investments, so that a person may squander away money that is earned or given unexpectedly. This could be because of unmaterialistic ideals, i.e. you give away an inheritance to a charity, but it could also be a foolish investment in which you must learn your lessons the hard way. Look to Saturn in your chart also to see how you may recover, and be careful regarding business partnerships. A rags to riches phenomena, or vice versa, is not uncommon here.

Most astrologers also agree this placement gives the individual an eccentric attitude towards sex, although you may be very responsive, yet you need much satisfaction and can be very demanding at times. You can also be very cool and unemotional, and may overanalyze your sexual problems, and at times this can border on obsession or hang-ups. Using logic and applying your rational mind to resolve your problems can help to overcome these obstacles. Your biggest problem may be in restraining any wild impulses you may have.

Uranus here also brings much original, inventive thinking to the eighth house matters of the occult and psychic concerns; you may have remarkable psychic ability, and should develop your intuition. Unfortunately, many astrologers claim that this placement can mean a sudden, unexpected death for an individual, especially if your chart reveals any negative aspects between Uranus and Mars, which can mean sudden accidents involving violence. You should be careful driving and when operating machinery; don't drive when angry, as a bad temper can cause accidents.

Neptune in Scorpio

Because the planet Neptune spends about 14 years in each sign, its influence on each individual is felt more as a 'generational' influence here rather than as a personal effect. In other words, this mystical planet is said to affect trends in the collective unconscious and spirituality in the charts of peers who have this planet placed in a given sign. For people born with Neptune in Scorpio (1957-1970), like you, the effects of this planet are generally said to produce a double whammy: an era of escapism through drugs, alcohol and sex on the one hand, and an inner connection and sensitivity to the real self on the other. Known as the 'hard rock types', this generation was known to have freely experimented with drugs or alcohol and presented a tough image, fought against the status quo, and had to stand up for what they wanted. Rather than the peaceful, flower children of the hippie era this generation escaped into drug addictive tendencies, easy money, or the yuppie route. Still, there was more emotional intensity here and some inspiring talents and ambitions. Scorpio draws the mysterious and secretive, and projects an aura of magnetic intensity. These people were their own warriors, journeying into uncharted lands--sometimes into sexual extremes and self-destructive behavior--yet always harboring a deep source of emotion and the uncanny ability to pierce the depth of any sham or falsehood. Though they may have had loose morals, they also were blessed with the ability to 'see' beyond the here and now and rise above the ashes of their own mistakes.

Neptune in the Ninth House

The dreamy, mystical planet of Neptune placed in the house of higher education and travel is a very psychic placement. This is a person who has probably experienced some kind of religious epiphany, or who may be on his or her own mystical search or quest for a holy grail. There is danger, however, that you may get distracted or sidetracked, so desperately wanting to find a guru that you are left deluded or caught up in some kind of cult. You may have to develop a rational, practical outlook to counter any lack of common sense, and if your chart has much earth signs in it elsewhere you will probably be able to do this pretty easily.

You are idealistic, philosophical and enjoy challenging the intellect. You are given to inspiring your mind, and may enjoy inspiring others as well. Neptune's imaginative and creative side makes you good at recalling and interpreting dreams. You probably have a deep interest in Eastern thought, spiritualism, reincarnation, and you may even want to study mysticism or other esoteric subjects as a vocation. Watch that you don't become confused in your ideologies, as you are very impressionable and are easily influenced by different views. Still, you are likely to have had your own spiritual visions; guard against being misguided in what to believe or practice as a result of this.

You probably enjoy travelling, but may travel in connection with your spiritual beliefs, preferring to learn about a culture while visiting it. You need to plan your trips out in advance or you may have the tendency to be disorganized while travelling; sometimes you may have unusual experiences while travelling abroad, and if Neptune is poorly aspected you could experience danger during long journeys.

Pluto in Virgo

Pluto is a mystery to many, and has a subtle, complex and deep influence on individuals. Astrologers are still trying to understand it today. Discovered in the 1930s, this planet has more of a collective effect on us rather than a personal one when travelling through the signs. It represents a form of extremely concentrated power, like a laser beam of light that can cut through the darkest storm. Unfortunately, it also has a dark side when utilized the wrong way to manipulate or control the masses. It can be a source of healing or a source of destruction, depending on how we tap into its energy, and its transcendental power is usually hidden in some way--perhaps deep in our psyche.

Pluto takes anywhere from 12 to 30 years to travel through each sign in the zodiac, thus affecting civilizations and generations rather than just individuals. It affected you because it was travelling through the constellation of Virgo (1957-1972) when you were born, thus ushering in a more health conscious generation with new methods of healing, tremendous gains in medical research and important breakthroughs in mind/body connections. This generation is also known for its interest in representing the rights of workers, and for its remarkable advances in computers and technology. On the negative side, you and your peers may be guilty of being overly critical of other generations, or of being "me" first and self-centered, without an awareness or an interest in sacrificing for others. However, the noblest quality of Virgo is service, and if you tap into that virtue you can truly be of great value to others on the planet. These people make great nurses, doctors, physical therapists, or other types of healers; they can also make excellent detail workers, such as computer specialists.

During 1961-1968, Pluto was in conjunction with Uranus in Virgo, causing much student unrest, criticism of values and general friction against the older generation. Remember this generation has the power to transform its energy, purify the old and get rid of leftover selfishness or tyranny from an outdated, pre-Civil Rights era. In their reaction against the baby boomers, they may obsess about details and seek perfection, yet with Uranus in the picture they are constantly thrown off track and forced to start over again. Pluto, however, gives them the power and energy to begin with gusto, and to attempt to change the world.

Pluto in the Eighth House

Because Pluto's position within the solar system is different from all other planets--it is farther away and has a different orbiting pattern--astrologers tend to view it as an unconventional planet, with invisible almost "underground" energy that can emit subterranean forces which need to be channeled and controlled to be used effectively. It is said that the house in which Pluto is found in can be a source of difficulty if that energy is blocked in some way, causing problems that need to be overcome or purged in order to get on with life. On the other hand, Pluto's placement in a house can represent the highest energy level an individual can achieve in terms of destiny and his or her relationship to a 'group consciousness' or life attunement. It can reveal the heights or lowest depths a person can reach, and can also determine how an individual uses or is used by its powerful energy.

Pluto in the eighth house is a powerful placement, giving you increased intuition and sometimes even a mystical nature or psychic ability. It may also mean increased emotions and emphasis on sex, but feelings and sexual expression may not necessarily flow easily or positively. You may have to control your appetites and desires, including your desire to control others. Sexual problems can occur here, and you may need to seek help through professional counseling.

You may have an increased interest in all of the 'occult' subjects of the eighth house--life after death, reincarnation, spiritualism and anything to do with the psychic senses. If you are self-aware, you may be able to tap into the psychic healing arts and truly help yourself and others. Contrary to this, if Pluto is poorly aspected, you may be a drain on other people's emotional and spiritual resources, and experience yourself a degeneration of energies. If this is the case, learn to overcome any weaknesses by dying to your old self and undergoing a rebirth and renewal. After all, the death of the personality and birth of soul power is the promise of a higher side of Pluto--just as one goes into darkness to find light. Through insight and self-mastery, learn to stand alone and give outwardly to others with a sincere desire, using your own resources. This will nurture great strength and resourcefulness in crisis situations.

Pluto here also makes you shrewd and intuitive regarding money and developing joint resources with a partner, and you may gain through a financial legacy. If the planet is afflicted in some way, you may experience problems with insurance, inheritance, taxes, or other people's money.

Elements
In a birth chart, we identify four different elements that point to different kinds of life energy: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. The presence of these elements in our charts tell us something about our basic personalities and motivations.
In your chart, we find that the EARTH element dominates. This means that what primarily motivates you are material needs such as security, money, and having the ability to get by in the world by using your skills to support yourself. You are likely more practical than intuitive, preferring to use your five senses to take in necessary information rather than using a lot of airy theories or inspirational thoughts. You are probably regarded as a "real" down to earth type of person who is patient, disciplined, and who can find a niche or place in the world of work since it is important for you to survive, eke out a basic living, and meet the needs of yourself and your family. Though you are not forthright and assertive like the fire signs, you can speak out when you feel something endangers your security. You are efficient, dependable, conventional, and cautious, yet can be suspicious about people who seem to have their "head in the clouds" full of ideas, like the air signs. Of all the signs you trust the watery people the most, perhaps because they have the same self-protectiveness, depth and retentiveness you have. The only negative qualities of the earth element is that it can be too practical, lacking in imagination, narrow in its outlook, and addicted to a routine or order. Try to go beyond your own depth, to see beyond the structure of what is there, and to stretch your airy mind so it can deal more with abstract ideas and theories. This will open you up to the reality of the unseen world and add a wisdom to your practical, common sense approach to daily life. Your biggest lesson is to learn to let go of material things, for only by learning detachment can you learn to serve others.

The second most frequent element found in your chart is the WATER element. This element will also shape who you are, although its influence is not as strong as your primary element. This means that you are motivated mostly by deep yearnings, by emotions, by unseen psychic nuances, and by feelings. Having a lot of water in your chart gives you the ability to get in touch with your own feelings, and at the same time, gives you an added capacity to experience and express true empathy and compassion towards others. Thus, you will find many people in the healing or psychic professions with a water connection in their charts. Water symbolizes the cooling, instinctual response and the sensitive nature a friend might show someone who is troubled over a broken heart. On a deeper level, it may reveal an intense yearning or compelling desire towards spirituality, love, or some other noble truth or virtue. Many times this "watery" feeling manifests itself unconsciously, where the individual is unaware of the power that really motivates him or her. The task for a person who has much of the water element in a chart is to get in tune with the deeper dimensions of life, and to channel his or her intuition into a positive direction that can help others, especially through empathy and psychic response. If you are not aware of your own feelings, however, it becomes virtually impossible to tap into a higher consciousness or to help others, and it is easier to become prey to irrational fears and compulsions. Watery people are happiest when their fluid is channeled and "given form" by someone else, especially by earth signs. They are repelled by the bawdy, burning fire signs. Watery people are secretive, contained, even if they may have storms brewing inside, which can lead to much emotional instability. Remember that water has much force and penetrating power if focused and channeled correctly. It symbolizes gaining consciousness slowly, and provides a deep stillness and reflection for others to draw guidance from.

Lack of Fire

As human beings we all exude a certain amount of energy, which in the birth chart is symbolized by four elements: earth, air, water and fire. Two of these elements, fire and air, and representative of the Chinese principle of Yang and usually are more dynamic, active, self-expresive, and can always be seen in social interaction, verbal expression, and physical activity. The other two, water and earth, represent the Chinese principle of Yin and show the passive, receptive qualities of life, often unconsciously and instinctively. These types of people live more within themselves and don't show much action without thinking about it first, and without using a lot of caution and intensity.

Some people actually show a lack of an element, in which case there is a side to their personality which is undeveloped, or something which they are not consciously in contact with and which needs to be cultivated in order to achieve a fully developed and well-rounded life. In your chart, there is a lack of the fire element, which means the fundamental vital principal of trusting life is missing, and you are probably not high spirited or intense in your interactions with people. Challenges may scare you, and major problems probably will take a long time to overcome since you lack the gusto to fight and the courage to overcome any of life's obstacles. A lack of fire could also mean no joy, no faith, no optimism, poor self-confidence, and a basic lack of enthusiasm in most actions. Physical exercise is highly recommended to give you the energy you need to counter all of these negative traits, and you should also watch your diet very carefully, especially if you also lack earth elements in your chart: a healthy, moderate diet could sustain you and set you on an even course. The key here is to do everything with moderation, so as to not exhaust the energy that you do have: conserve, conserve, conserve. You probably have an abundance of patience; use it with wisdom. You also probably lack all of the negative fire qualities--being brash, overbearing, or impatient--which could make youa very tactful diplomat, depending on the other elements in your chart
